Teleportation… An Idea That works!

Filed under: Uncategorized — korbek @ 6:48 am

But doesn’t work yet…!

I leave the house 4:45 and 5:30 each morning on days I have to work, go to Starbucks, do some school work, then head out to the job. Usually it is a very peaceful event, but lately there is construction on the highway I take. AAAARRRRGGGGHHHH!!! Can ya feel the frustration!?! Since my wife uses the car to take the boys to the babysitter, I drive the motorcycle. I really enjoy the ride, except when…

It is too HOT (I live in Texas, so this is the norm) There are traffic backups (Yep, DFW Metroplex, usually traffic) And… When they are doing construction…

Here’s why. Whey they are doing construction, there is always loose gravel floating around in the air from cars that kick it up. Being on a motorcycle in that environment is like that duck in that old video game, just flying about, looking to get shot!!! Well, yesterday I was rolling along, and chunk of gravel hit the fingernail on the middle finger of my left hand!!! Of all the targets it could hit, it somehow got my FINGERNAIL! And yes, I was screaming, as I was cruising down the asphalt! At least I got to show off my boo boo to everyone (that was pretty cool!!!).

I wore gloves today…

So, here is the daily ponder…

What is the deal with teleportation? Is it really that difficult to figure out? Yeah, it is, but hey, we can put a man on the moon (or did we???), why can’t we beam around the planet? Those guys in Britain beamed some light from one place to another, what is the hold up!!! Teleportation, the ultimate in Global Digital Mobility!

OK, talk amongst yourselves, and stay mobile!
